Working with video in a real-time setting allows me to explore
the medium similarly to working with sound. I can explore the levels
of color and distortion in the video by manipulating it with software
and divining something out this material in performance or in the
studio. I work with both sound and video in a similar way the only
difference is how a person perceives it. One medium always refers
to the other: We see sounds and we hear visuals.
